MY COMMENTS:
I did this piece as an exercise to see how quickly I could complete a painting that I think would sell on ebay. It took me a total of 3 hours. The second image is a detail of the main painting. I wanted to attach that since the main image is blurry. (gotta stop using the video camera to take pics) It has a cartoon style, but I've been surprised to find a large audience for this type of art.

MY QUESTIONS FOR THE GROUP:
oh anything.. I just love feedback, good or bad.

Hey great job, I have noticed that work that is lined lke yours is does sell better, I don't know what it is. Maybe it is just easier for people to look at. Continue with the timed exercises. It helps I have a peice here entitled Flowers for mom that I painted in about an hour. I have always recieved great responses from people who see it in RL. Have a great day, John.

You know, I think that line art appeals to people in many different ways. They're simple... they relate to the cartoons people watch growing up... bright, bold colors... and they're quick, so they're a lot cheaper. I like to do them to keep myself from spending too much time on my oil paintings and detailed work. They're fun :)

Love the pixy face - I can imagine this would sell well - it'd look great on the wall, and it feels good.
