This went very fast, 4 to 5 hours. These were not the colors I had in mind but just for the base but then I kind of liked it and stuck with them. This is 15 X 30.

Very interesting treatment of the subject. I'm a little concerned about the poor guy on the far right, only having two legs to stand on.???

Thanks everyone for the feedabck. Forgot to say that any C&C are welcome but I am working a little bit more on the elephant towards the far right.

This is really cool looking, love the color choices used here. Im glad to hear your working a bit more on the elephants. I would like to see a bit more defination on them, they appear a little more out of focus than they should, the background I like out of focus but the elepahants would look splendid if they were tightened up a bit.
My only other advice is this, 80% of the painting is in Mid-Tones, try to get some darker darks and some lighter lights going on to give more appeal to the viewer...

So, worked on the elephants a bit more. How much enough, I am still not sure. Also not sure where is the line between keeping it loose and tightening it too much but here it is ...C&C are definitelt welcome.
And ofcourse the digital camera is taking away some of it's depth and vibrancy but I guess everybody faces that.
