Philadelphia, Summer 2000

I will be visiting Philadelphia, PA this summer for the first time with family in tow. Sent for info via web and have brochures, but was wondering if anyone had any great suggestions?????? Will be there June/July. Anyone doing any shows I may not know about? Any great casual places to eat? Will visit lots of museums - which should I avoid?

Philadelphia:

Barnes Museum (Chadds Ford, or nearby?) - definitely
Phila Museum of Art - Rocky Steps! - wonderful full-sized city art museum
Rodin Museum - if you like Rodin, there's more here than just about anywhere

Eat at:
Serena (in Old City)
Then go upstairs to the acoustic club
