This is finished, I think.
My main purpose in this was to try and differentiate between masses of trees/shrubs that are fronting each other. No reference pic, just a made up scene.
C & C welcome....

Thanks Cami & Susan.
The foreground is a mixture of Burnt Umber/Yellow Ocher/Sap green, and A wee bit of Paynes gray mixed into the Burnt Umber for the darkest areas.

Arl, Kathie,Susan,Sam & Barsha.....
Thanks all, this is actually rather fun, as I am flying by the seat of my pants here, using "Recipes" for colour mixing and other techniques that I have read here.
I thought it was about time to stop reading, and put the words to work!
So I am working on the smaller canvas' that I have.
(And the suggestions & Recipes actually do wortk!)

 As you might have guessed, imagination paintings are among my favorites! You've done a great job on this, Kathleen, and from my perspective, you have achieved your goal of creating different planes and depth with your greenery. The blues really make the scene pop too - bonus!!!!

Well done! :D

Nicely done Kathleen! I would never have guessed that it's from your imagination - it's a very convincing scene and well rendered!
