It MUST be my Maine upbringing that allows me to want to paint snow at ANY time of the year?....so, here's one I've started; never posted a WIP this early in the process, mostly since I'm learning and not sure where I'll end up? So, why not come with me and watch?......

Ok...I guess unfortunately for anyone hoping to see a 10 step process here, I'm a fast, quite impatient painter! Usually I finish a painting in 2 or less sittings..that just me!! This one only took 3 sittings..and I've called it complete. I AM always looking for feedback to improve it, so before I varnish, please let me know if you see something that's not right or you feel detracts! I Value all of your opinions and comments...thank you! Size 20x24 on gallery wrapped canvas.

I like the freshness of your piece, not overworked. The colors are very nice and the perspective is logical. I agree... well done.

I really enjoy your style Holly. I'd love to learn to paint like this, all loose and painterly. This is a great scene and believe me I understand the compulsion to paint snow year-round!
