Some folks are really working on the new Cafe Guerbois project...The Red Boat in
Impressionism!

Keep up the good work Guerbois Chatters! this was a fun project and I hope everyone can say they have learned a lot about impressionism while painting the Red Boat!

my red boat is nearly finished, but i don't have a digi cam.. !

it's oil, 30x36 on canvas and i'm gonna try to get a friend (!) to come by and snap a foto...

even if not, it was a lot of fun to paint, and i like it a lot.

ok, i just lied.
well, not a real lie, but i went to my painting and found that it was dry enough to scan most of it in directly using the scan & snip method of splicing.

Just a reminder that the deadline is approaching for the Red Boat Project, but if you have a painting started and feel you just won't be able to get your photos into Rod on time, please do finish the project, and submit your pics for posting!

Also we have some new finished pics up for viewing! Take a look at all the new impressionists in our midst...

The deadline is approaching but it is not too late to submit your finished painting for posting!
If you cannot get it ready to post by midnight on the 15th, please finish your work and send the jpg file to Rod for posting after the deadline. We don't want to leave anyone out!!!

Although the Project Deadline has passed for the Red Boat! please finish any work that you may have started and send your pic in the form of a .jpg file to Rod or to me!
