I don't even want to know how long ago the blue challenge was... I have been thinking and planning how to finish this one....so finally here is the new and improved version!
It is not signed yet either...so go ahead with the C&C...there is always room for improvement in what I do!

Great work susan...love how youve done this. What color blue is that? Its a very nice color!!!

Thanks, Mike!! I was glad to finally find a way to make it work!
The blue is one of the first "grown up" paints I bought...Liquitex Heavy Body Ultramarine Blue (green shade)...straight from the tube. I have a weakness for blues...:o, so I have to be careful...or everything would be shades of blue.

Thanks, MIke!! It still amazes me how much less of the artist grade I need compared to the student to get the colors and look I want!
Thank you, Michelle...I owe it all to you!

Susan, this looks antiqued (as I know the pieces are)
A fitting tribute to wonderfully old treasures.

I remember your first version. Your eyes were twitching, and you kept sticking your tongue out. You certainly know how to stick with a challenge, and, it does make a difference, nice work.

Thank you Ozone! Sometimes setting them aside for awhile works....sometimes it does not! If you look around my studio, there are alot of 'nots'. Nice to see one that did!
