This is my 2nd fairy on a 6" ceramic tile. I am starting to get the hang of wings, but I am not happy with the dark outline. Because it is fired on the tile I cant change this one, but you learn from mistakes so I will know better on my next one.

Thanks for looking.

I see what you mean about the outline, but I think it might be the thickness rather than the darkness...? I don't find it to be a problem, but I seem to remember that your other fairy (shown in the gallery collection, I think) was more subtle. Or maybe I'm no remembering properly. It wouldn't be the first time

Thanks for commenting Cyndi. You are remembering correctly. The other fairy wings were more subtle and I think you're right about the thichness. By the way, a first piece from the gallery has sold. A small pansy. I'm pretty happy about that.

very nice, as always, Bonnie.

i absolutely adore the way her eyes are painted! (and i agree about the thickness of the outlining on the wings).

thanks for sharing!

Don't mind if I like the outlining?:)

Hope your'e still going to submit this one for sale, too!
Once you're over the hump of the one...the rest will be like setting up dominoes,eh?

And congratulations!

Thanks Robert, I placed her for sale at the same shop where the 4 Greenmen are. It's the perfect venue for her.
