 I like this very much! This painting provokes thought and emotion so well! The only thing that might benefit from a bit more "information" is the figure in the chair. I don't understand the legs or what's in the lap...but then, maybe I'm not supposed to?:)

Exceptional work here! :D

Poor gals. You depicted their despairing moods well.

Absolutely love it. You told a story like no one else could. I think we all have been there at one time or another.

I agree with leaving it as is. You captured the feelings very well.

You have managed to portray quite powerful facial expressions with seemingly so few brushstrokes.

I made a few changes that I thought had to be done.

Yes, the furthest figure "reads" better. You already had great emotional content, it must have been difficult to make those final adjustments without destroying that. You have managed that superbly.

I like the composition and think you did a good job of capturing the intended emotions. I do think the value range is too narrow but perhaps this is what you wanted to go with the somber mood. Interesting painting.

Yep - good stuff!

I'm a bloke, but still like and have some understanding of what it's all about. I would get it signed and sealed straight away now.

Us men have feeling too you know!!!!!!!!!
