I've added lots of new goodies in the chat system:
Private conversations - just double click on someone's name to initiate a private conversation.
Private rooms - You can now create your own temporary, private rooms via the "rooms" tab on the chat window.
Lots of other little fixes and the like are also in. Still working on adding a few more things in tonight.
