Hi. Here is a 14"x18" piece I did yesterday. I was supposed to work on a couple of pet portraits but did not have the right canvas for one, and no reference photo of the other. I had fun with this, trying to stay fairly loose. I found it to be arelaxing experience.

Does it work? Are the blooms enough of a focal point?

Works very well Frank! Nice dynamic composition and great color. Just enough pink vs. green. Nice loose brushwork!

I think this turned out wonderful...and yes you have enough of those gorgeous blossoms..I think the perfect amount :)
