16" x 12" on Acrylics Paper.
Not really one of my favorite paintings. Any comments?

I like this a lot. I think my brain likes the red highlight in the upper right because it keeps looking up there and saying "What's That?" Some might say it's an eye distractor, but I think it adds nice interest.

 This looks just like the kind of lunch I would eat, (seriously!) It's a wonderful array of yummy fruits. The bright blue divided plate is also excellent! Beautiful still! :D

I love the colours and the modeling of the fruit and jug.

Thank you for your comments, I am seeing the painting different now :o.
This painting took 3 weeks to finish because I was loosing all the motivation and I thought it was coming out as a disaster.

About the red light in the background, I removed it with photoshop and did not like the result. When possible I try to leave something in the background to make the painting a bit more interesting.

Hey billycat, this is really nice and attractive!

If I were really pushed to make a critique (although I am hardly qualified, so this will just be an impression) - notice the shadow under the grapes? and the shadow on the jug? Dont you think they are a tad too far apart in terms of depth? I think the shadow on the grapes blends perfectly with the shadow under the saucer, so I would've darkened - by glazing - the shadow on the jug until they more or less harmonize, and give better depth to the painting. Thats all I could think about.

It does the job. Leave it in.

Well I like it even if it isn't one of your favourites, I struggle to paint these type of subjects, I think you've done a nice job here with vibrant colours.
