Look what I found at the thrift store for $3.50:

This is 27 inches wide by 16 inches deep and stands 34 inches tall. Perfect as a taboret in my new tiny studio. The shelves are adjustable, too. Hubby will put casters on this for me when he has time so I can move it around.

This is the new tiny temporary (I hope!!) studio:

There is a bit of empty space at the moment because a lot of stuff was left in the old house until we make our final move once the house sells.

Oh boy, what a fantastic find, not your run of the mill type shelving either.
That room looks about the same size I have. I haven't measured, but it's about 10x11 or so. To make space I'm making one of my walls my easel so I can fit large canvases on it and give me more room.!!

Great solution at a great price...I wish my studio looked as neat as yours and mine covers most of a unused dining room!!! Must clean, must clean, must clean.....

 Beautiful find Sue! I love it when that happens! Great to see your creative space too. It may be small but you've got it set up very conveniently. I really like the cubby shelves too and of course the magnifier! :D

Thanks so much everyone for your comments! The magnifier light is sort of stolen... it was in hubby's workshop and seldom used after he changed jobs so I 'liberated' it and put it to good use! The cubbies were also free, they were in the shed when we bought this place! One person's junk equals another person's treasure!

Raymo, I feel the need to ask for your mailing address... I don't know why??

Sharm, I like the idea of making the wall the easel so please post pics so I can do the same!

Bizkit, my little studio is seldom neat when I am painting! Check out www.creakyeasel.com and you will see my old studio! Before that it was the dining room table, also. (Thank goodness the kids have left home:wave: !!)

Gayle, I will send you my mailing address and wait for your list to arrive!

I love garage sales and flea markets and the thrift stores for finding treasure but my hubby is not very keen on it... he thinks it is junk! Until I repurpose it, of course! But I do have to be careful as I tend to be a 'collector' and run out of elbow room in a real hurry:lol:
