Ok, so I had a few problems with this post, too. The 1st post I did, they told me it was too big, now this one came out too small. Here's my retry.:confused:

umm...still a bit small, but what i can see I like!!! Looks sort of Retro.again, it might be the picture size for that influence..

Great Purple!! this reminds me alot of the fabric painting I did for years on sweatshirts and sweatpant legs!! I like the colors and texture used!!:thumbsup:

Nice texture and composition. The eye stays in the picture despite the movement.

Thank you all for your kind words. I just started painting within the last month. My hubby, dylsdad1958, has encouraged me, despite me telling him I have no artistic talent. Outside comments help, even tho I still think the only thing I can paint is abstract. LOL

It takes a lot of talent to paint a good abstract, and I see much promise in this piece. There is depth, and a nice arrangement of elements. You should pursue abstract painting and see where it takes you. Just like any style, as time goes by, you will grow and develop as long as you stick with it. This is a wonderful beginning! :D
