Thank you so very much (and thank you English language for 'thank you')... really overwhelmed by your lavish response. You are too kind. As I always maintain, its so very educative to see your work through others' eyes.

 Hello and welcome, Roy!

And what a debut! Love the punch - wonderfully vivid colors and the figure is outstanding! The composition and the idea for the painting is also GREAT! Exceptional details too. I'm in awe! :D

Thank you Elizabeth :)

Okaay... I'm still trying to find my way in this vast labyrinth of artistic creativity, so please bear with me when I seem to be losing my way. I'm re-posting Heavy Metal from the other thread (http://www.wetcanvas.com/forums/showthread.php?t=507288) in here, with an aim to post all my acrylics in one thread only. This will help me keep track of your wonderful and educative comments, as well as help me perceive the warmth and buzz of a gallery environment in one thread. Let's see how this goes...

For those who haven't seen Heavy Metal before, this is a 40" x 30" acrylic on board - thank you. For those who already have, please ignore it! :)

 Hi again Roy!

I understand your wanting to keep your work organized and the method for retrieving feedback simple, but you will get more responses if you use a new thread for each of your works. This is especially true if the title of your thread does not reflect multiple works.

You may, if you still want to do this, contact one of the moderators and they can revise the title of your thread for you. Or just post a response here and I'll relay the message to one of the mods.

If you decide to keep each of your works separate, a good way to view your threads is to:

Go to any of your posts
Click on your avatar
Scroll down the page about 1/2 way and look to the left
You will see two links
First one is "Find all posts by roy-p"
Second one is "Find all threads by roy-p"
Click either link and it will bring up a list of your posts or threads (respectively)

Hope this is helpful! :D

I just love your still life, by the way. It has an old world look. Great lighting and I applaud your technique that depicts the different metals and other objects on the table so well. Another outstanding piece in my opinion! :D

Also, thank you for your comment on my portrait of Jason in the AMAE Forum. I would have posted my appreciation there, but I didn't want to resurrect the thread with the new event going on. Your encouraging words were very much appreciated! :)

I'm a people painter, so this one isn't as appealing to me, but it is nicely done. Obvious skill, soothing colors and atmosphere, nice additional punch with the reds and silver.

I agree with Elizabeth's advice as well. It is hard to keep up where your newest addition in this thread would be found as well. It is really easy to track your posts once you get the hang of it.

Ahhh.. thank you thank you, Elizabeth and Jenny... I value your advice a LOT. So multi-threads it is from now on!
