I hope this will brighten some ones day. I painted this many years ago and could not scan the entire painting. You are not used to seeing my work out in the main forum, it is a different experience for me as well. Yeah-hah, it is bright!

Thanks for looking.

Ruth- I'm happy it brightened your day, your paintings have brightened many of mine. Thanks.

Kathie- I know the background was airbrushed, and parts of the rose- I guess that's a yes. Thank you so much, you are very kind.

Jenny- Thank you for your very generous and special comments.
This morning
I woke up with this feeling
I didn't know how to deal with
And so I just decided to myself
I'd hide it to myself, and never talk about it
And didn't I go and shout it
When you walked into the room.
"I think I love you!":music: by David Cassidy

Carol- ah, that was just part of a dramatic reading, from my all time favorite movie "Cool Hand Luke." "You got to get mad at those eggs - gnaw on 'em - chew on 'em. Nobody can eat 50 eggs."

Hope I didn't lose you? Paul Newman is now 83 in failing health. I told him to choose the rusty nails over the eggs.:D

Hi Oz. I loved your introductory post...found that before this one.

Well I love the colour but I if it were mine....I would be calling it a peony as it reminds me so much of the ones in my gardern. Hope to see more.

Cheers, Dianna

Hi Dianna - Peony it is then! Thanks so much for stopping by. This is maybe the 4th in-"carnation" of this rascal.
