Linda this is Wonderful, I looked into the collection of your bridges, They are all great, the Church group will be so pleased, I'm sure. May I ask where you got all your ideas from and what they are going to do with these?? Curious. Forgive me for asking but what does JN 14:6 mean.. I'm thinking it is a passage but I am unfortunately not very good catholic to know what it is.
I can tell I've been away too long!! I give you alot of credit if your going to do 40 of them!! U go girl!!!

Kathie, thanks. :) I got most of the images from our very own RIL. The paintings will be given as a token gift for coming to a Women's Rally. The theme of the rally is "Jesus, Our Bridge". The verse is John 14:6, "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life, and no man comes to the Father but by Me."

I think this way of serving is much more fun and meaningful for me than making a casserole. :D Thanks for inquiring.

Nice creation of depth with the foliage in front!

Thanks Gayle. I like that aspect, as well. The bridge, however, is interesting because the arches vary so. I didn't realize until I started painting it.

 Another gorgeous bridge scene here, Linda! I too really like the silhouetted leaves. Really pushes the bridge back and the contrast is heavenly. Nice job as well on the bridge itself and the water. Such a great series; what a wonderful exercise in technique and speed! :D
