Hi everyone.

I have two new and very different from each other trees to show.
Enjoy, and thanks for looking and commenting.

Thank you
the first one is acrylic on board 11" x 14" using tissue paper to apply layers of color for the background. No tissue paper was applied to the board, the tissue was just used a tool to paint with.

This one is 14" x 18" Acrylic on canvas using tissue paper for texture in the background and fabric paint to accent the branches.

WOW, the first painting is beautifully colored, and the second has a wonderful design to it. You make the color schemes interesting and it adds to the work, sort of a rainbow fluorescents. Nice work.

I really like the first one too. I don't dislike the second but it doesn't compel me to look at it.

thanks Cami, the second one is mostly part of the crazy flowers that I have been doing and it does not really go with the other trees lol I have had that background on it completed for sometime trying to figure out what I wanted to put on it and this morning i made a decision and there it is.....

Well, I guess I'm the odd one! I like the second one best. I love it that you used fabric paint for the highlights. Does it have the raised texture to it? I'm not really familiar with fabric paint but I think I've seen it before.

Yes the fabric paint comes in a bottle that allows you to make thin lines and it leaves a raised surface on the painting.

 Hi Tami!

I really don't like to play favorites, but I do love that first one very much and agree, there's something magical/special about it. I really like the textures and colors of the second, however, your focal, the tree, is not coming through strong enough, in my opinion. You might consider adding some of the beautiful highlighting to the branches as you did in the first to bring it out a bit more.

Very, very good work though! I'm so glad I didn't miss these! :D
