:wave: Hello Artists

The weekly pastel sketch thread is for ALL pastelists of all skill levels who use soft pastels, hard pastels, or pastel pencils.

The idea is to fit some sketching time into your week by completing a sketch in one hour or less. You can sketch anything, whether it be from life or photos.

It's a good idea to time your sketch, keeping it within 60 minutes. You know how time flies when you’re creating! So, get your pastels out, set a timer, and when your time is up, please post your sketches here and share your efforts with us!!

We had a great time last week. Check out all the sketches!

done on strathmore charcoal paper

hmm ... either one of the image uploaders are working .. guess I'll have to use the attachment manager and put up a little thumbnail :D

Really nice WC, I like the still life very impressive nicce use of color with the blues and light violets.

Well here is one I am playing around with 9x11 on poster board coated with white colorfix primer undercoat with Nupastels and then finished with Schminckes.

ok I tryed to use my Image uploader but all it does now is give the location of the photo on my computor. so I have to use the manage attachments to upload it. hope it working, this is not one of the better ones but will show it anyway :)

Scott: when you use thei image uploader, when it ask you to click on the image when done, instead of doing that, copy the link that is below it and put it in the .. tags.
