I'm going to start making paperweights as soon as I get a few more tools together. Here are some flowers I made this morning that will be in the first ones. This is only the second time I've sat down and worked on this type of flower. Hopefully, they'll get a lot better.

Also, here's a link to a couple more pictures:

Great flowers, David! I love the texture on the stamens (? not a botanist) on the red ones. The pink colors in the last link are so pretty too!

Carolyn,

I took Loren Stump's five day class this last April. I'm planning on going back for some more instruction with Loren in September.

I just checked out Chris Buzzini's work. Wow! There's something to strive for. Here's the link I found: Chris Buzzini (http://selman.com/cb97.html)

Do you know where he teaches?

They're made from Morreti glass. I'm waiting for my Stump Sucker to come in the mail. I'm also getting enough splitters and hose to set up three torches; my Major Burner, a Mid-Range, and The Little Torch. It takes two people to make paperweights. I watched Loren Stump make one with no help, but I personally don't have enough hands. :)
