Hi, here it is June already. I started this one last night and it's acrylics and 9 x 12 inches on 140 lb wc paper. I'm looking forward to seeing some more wips and hearing from the ab/con family! :D

Hi Lynnie

This is wonderful! I love how you painted the branches

Here is my WIP, a plaster sculpture I started this week-end:

I enjoyed my week-end home, but I'm flying back to Barcelona tomorrow early. Next week I should be back in Paris though :D

On Friday I had lunch in a restaurant near my home (just round the corner in fact) and saw a photo exhibition there. I liked the photos but the thing that really interested me was that they were inkjet prints mounted on aluminium. I would really like to seee my digis printed large and mounted on aluminium like this. I went to visit the printer the same day and I will try to have a test print done when I'm back in Paris. Maybe this is finally the solution I've been looking for to show my digis. It's expensive though so I'll have to think carefully before making a decision...

Thanks Flo and woo your sculpture is looking very cool! I would love to see how those prints look mounted on aluminum, that sounds like a great idea I hope you'll share a photo of your print when you get it done! It sounds like you are enjoying your time back home and making good use of it too!

Howard this is a lovely work and I almost missed seeing the delicate shape of the leaf in the bottom part. The way you vary the width of the lines and the colors you use are

This has great depth Howard and I'm loving it as each layer is applied, especially those golden circles and the warm colors!

Looks good so far Howard, it's nice to see how the work progresses

I'm so happy to be back home (for a while at least)! I came back from Barcelona on Thursday night and I don't have to go back there for two weeks :D I started a lot of things this week-end but didn't finish any of them

Today I visited some of my artist friends for the open door studio. I will participate in the next one in September, and I just heard I could register for a project to make floating sculptures! I will call tomorrow for more information, but I like this idea so much that I think I'll try to do it even if they don't accept me in the project, lol.

I also made a few digis and I'm even working on a movie  I guess I will post those in a separate thread.

Hope everyone is having a great week-end

TGIF!! Hi Jeff! Tim, I'm looking forward to your wip and you have a good point about this thread being up in the stickies. I don't think too many people even see it up there. Can I get some opinions on whether we should 'unstick' this thread? I'm thinking it would be a good idea. :D  Here's a wip I've been painting on and I had to share these photos I got of a butterfly visitor we had on the deck the other evening! He just ignored me taking all kinds of pictures of him and went from bloom to bloom. :D

Awww thank you Jayde! I'm still figuring and looking at that one. I think it may need some white swans swimming in the moonlight to make it finished, I'm still looking on it.
Thanks TimE and this thread is 'unglued' now. I still need to get some pics for something I wanted to post in the drawing thread. That was a great idea for a thread!  I hope all you guys are having a Happy Father's Day!
