This is a painting of my daughters dog. It's her baby. This is 11 X 14 on canvas. He's really a sweet dog. Comments & Critiques always welcome.

What a cutie! Great job! Just one little thing is his left (to us) eye iris is not equal with that of the right, a tad askew to the left.

is actually the out of focus leopard print blanket he lays on.

I see it. Actually, the pupil is not round and is not looking at us the way the other one is.

But all in all, it's a super portrait!

Hi Jimmy. I guess if you dont want c&c, you should say so.
I agree with Sue, I also see something wrong with the eyes, but you are the artist and you can do what you want. I personally like to get c, even if I dont see it right away, sometimes it takes time to notice it.
I think you have a good painting there, it just all depends on what you aim.:wave:

I will go along with your point of view on the eyes. I do see what you mean, but don't see how it affects the painting. I guess that's why they say "in the eye of the beholder". I never said I didn't want critique either Ceci and I apologize if I seemed to come off that way. All critique is good in one way or the other. It's up to you what you do with it. Thank you all for any and all comments and critiques.

Killer Chihuahua, lol! What a loveable dog! He has eyes like my dog who has a bit of chihuahua in him - his name is Jimmy!

Think the eye is a bit off Jim,but this does not distract from the painting in my opinion,really nicely done.

Okay, the eyes are off, but I notice in Chihuahuas that their eyes tend to be "off" anyway, so that may be just how they are. I think it's a great painting! :-)
