Hello everyone,
I have been experimenting with pen and ink and brush and ink on canvas lately, I have been trying to draw and paint in a poster fashion.
I am going to post the three I have done. I am looking for advice on how to better my artwork with ink on canvas. These were done in Aquamarine blue.

Thanks

I have never used pen on canvas but these are great, really good, keep at it and see where it takes you.

These are wonderful; I've never seen ink on canvas before; is this technique hard?

I think these are brilliant. I haven't tried this technique myself ... do you have to prepare the canvas in any way?

Hello,
Thanks for the positive comments.

I had always wanted to use canvas for inks, but as you know Canvas isnt really meant for ink. I thought why not and bought some cheap canvas and started to draw. ant it worked out fine, no bleeding which was a bonus. I use Paper mate fine line to do the fine work, and brush and ink to fill in the main body of the drawing/painting.

It isnt hard at all, I did find working with bigger surfaces than normal was a bit fiddly, but that is easily overcome.

Thanks
Best

Hello,
No the canvas I bought was already prepared, I buy Pure cotton duck double acrylic Gesso primed and stretched canvas. It is meant for oil or acrylic but so what, I think ink is the perfect medium for canvas.

Thanks
