I just found an advertisment for Kim Lordier and her new show on page 143 of my new Southwest Art magazine.

The show is at the Debra Huse Gallery on Balboa Island, California. The show is called Elusive Light and the Landscape.

Way to go Kim!

Well, with that quality and body of work, it's quite natural.
I keep saying that the depiction of light is the most important thing in a work and she does it so well.

Kind regards,

WOW, you guys! I came online to check the glass post and saw my name in lights! Thank you!!!!!:o

Donna, thank you so much for the post. This is why I have been away from WC for so long, as I was working to get the show put together, teaching a workshop and participating in a plein air event in southern California. Only left time for me to lurk occasionally.

Thank you, Jose, Charlie, Deborah and Harriet. I really appreciate your support! I have been truly blessed....

Boy, someone here at the WC is going to have to be responsible for my head exploding from all this praise!!!!:D :D

Donna T, Tracy, Margie, Don, Nana, Scotty, TJ, David, Merethe, and Deborah again, THANK YOU!

I thank you all for a wonderful community with which to share and explore. I just got through with teaching a workshop with so many great artists, and made sure I told those who were not familiar with WC to check this place out. Because if they are unable to find an answer to a question on there own, they will certainly receive a very educated one here.

Thank all again so much, and I hope that I can eventually live up to all your praise:o
