Another great one, Tom. It feels moody, like the period just before the spring buds begin to appear.

Really like this one! The blues and purples in the background and water give it a special zing!

I grew up in Nebraska.....the pink and purple says "spring is right around the corner". I've always admired your work....thanks for sharing:)

Another great one! Did you do the underpainting on this one? .... Great colors.

Tom, I don't think I've ever seen you paint anything bad. Wonderful work!

I love the transition from the blue to the lavender in the background. Before you know it you will be dealing with that too-intense spring green!

Tom, that's the way things look around here as well, except we do have a lot of conifers. We have sun and it looks warmer than it is, but nothing blooming yet. You have really captured that end of winter look. Awesome work, as expected from you.

Wonderful piece Tom. I normally am not tempted to do paintings "without" green in them...but I really like this one. It does make one feel like Spring is just around the corner.

If the weather would straighten up around here, (hopefully next week on my day off  ), I know just the spot to get a great photo at a local creek on our bike path....Thanks for the inspiration!

It does look great even without the green!
