We'll be hosting our popular IMPACT University panel--back for its fourth consecutive year. The panel discusses creating comics and is useful info for both artists and writers.

This years faculty will include Peter David (Dark Tower: The Gunslinger Born, Friendly Neighborhood Spiderman), Orson Scott Card (Ender's Game, Ultimate Ironman), Colleen Doran (A Distant Soil), Brian Miller (founder of Hi-Fi Colour Design, Maggie Thompson (Comics Buyer's Guide senior editor) and more to be announced.

Stop by the booth to meet Special Guest of the Con John Howe, renowned fantasy artist and conceptual designer for the Lord of the Rings movie trilogy!

Additional book signings by Peter David, Colleen Doran, Brian and Kristy Miller and Stefan Bucher (100 Days of Monsters).

Academy Award winning film designer Doug Chiang (http://www.fwbookstore.com/product/1971/art-instruction)(Star Wars prequels, Beowulf, War of the Worlds) and Transformers comics artist E.J. Su (http://www.fwbookstore.com/product/1908/art-instruction) will also be signing in our booth.

PLUS, I have some details about John Howe! As a Special Guest of the Con, John will have his own panel at noon on Saturday, July 26. A signing in the booth will follow at 2:00 where John will sign copies of his book John Howe Fantasy Art Workshop (http://www.fwbookstore.com/product/1609/art-instruction) and we will be giving away our Comic-Con Exclusive John Howe poster "Wandering Fire" taken from his forthcoming book Forging Dragons (due in October).
