Well I really like this experiment. Great colors, what a feel to this. Excellent.

Very interesting. I would like to see more of the bright green to suggest that this was painted at dawn/dusk and not just an experiment with color.

Hi Flint! Very unusual lighting effect, washing through as it does under the animals bellies. A very nice painting in every aspect. Color wise alone it is very creative. What is it about cows. I grew up on a ranch where we ran 3,000 head, and from personal experience I would say that they are rather passive, a bit curious, and dumb... I wonder why they are so visually entertaining though?

Darrell, is the mother cow's head a bit small for her body? Not sure.

Anyway, you've painted the foreground very impressionistically while the cows are detailed. Will you be adjusting this or is it fini?

I like it for its very moodiness.
