HI!

I haven't posted in a long, long while, cuz I've been sooo busy! Well, anyway, I just finished this and just am so excited about how it turned out! BUT, since I am hasty about posting this, I may be missing something. I would love to hear your points. Please let me know. Anyway, C&C's welcome....Thanks! Oh, and I have the WIP posted on my blog...linkie below.

I will certainly leave the actual critics to the more experienced on here, But I do have to say I was just captivated by the foreground water, you have done a remarkable job, going to go to your blog and enjoy, excellent.

Absolutely beautiful and VERY well done. I love the reflections on the water from the sky which are also reflecting back up on to the hull of the boats. The dock has that well worn look, excellent job!!! I love it.

I'm on board with this piece!!! Love the colors more than I can truly express. That water is exactly filled with those rich vibrations like we typically see but can never capture on paper.

I know the time of day and the temperature. It's a WINNER!!!

Thanks you guys! So many nice compliments!!!
I had my husband look at it and he tells me that the yellow rope needs be more subdued, because it has too much contrast and intensity. I'm thinking that I might do that...thoughts? Again, thanks for the nice words on this...I am really excited about having done this one...it's been awhile. Smiles,

You have the whole boat, marina, water and atmosphere down pat. This is quite an amazing piece. I feel as if I'm ready to take a little trip!

Oh yes! The foreground is fabulous. And having painted boats, I know it is no mean feat to get them just right but you have. No wonder you are pleased...you should be very pleased!

Thanks you guys for all your wonderful compliments on this one. You are all way too nice to me.
My eye keeps on going back to the yellow rope. I'm wondering if anyone sees this as blaring as I do...? I think IRL, it is more yellow than in this image on the screen.
