It's great to have another place to talk about glass and also have
all of this great inspiration from so many other mediums.
I find my art often gets lost in the day to day "production" work
I sometimes find myself losing touch with inspiration, and this is just what I need to get it back.
Thanks for the nudge, Laura!

Hi Jennifer! Another beautiful heart! Yep, this forum is great - I love looking at all the other art. So many I haven't even had time to look at! I want to check out the photography forum and the drawing and sketching, which is one of my loves that I haven't touched in awhile. And the pastels. And the encaustic. And, and....

I am 'wasting' to much time here, just sitting and looking for the ship that I know should sail over the horizon on your cool bead. Nice.;)

Thank you so much. The shape is gorgeous and I love how neatly you did the twist. Did you use a stringer or a pick for your twisting point?

Beautifyl bead as usual Jennifer!:D

I use all my short ends and just pull about two inches of stringer off the end and trim. That way I've got a whole bowl, which I put sand in, full of twist tools in varying colors handy when they're needed.
I like using these as well because i get a nice solid rod in my hand for control to twist with, but the points are nice and petit.
