This is the second acrylic painting that I gave painted having recently made a transition from Watercolour.
I'd appreciate any thoughts, comments, feedback.
The painting is Acrylic on MDF (masonite for Americans) approximately 300x400 mm using Pebeo Artists Acrylic paints.

I like this ! Great colours and great job on the water :)
Hi Literal from another Wellingtonian...area anyway!!
You've captured the estuary grasses, and the mood of this place. the clouds are very realistic...!!
IMO I find my eye wanting to focus on something, but everything is out of focus, if you see what I mean,...I don't know, maybe a blade of grass or two detailed????
Just my opinion...depends what effect you were after anyway...your painting..:)

Thanks for the positive feedback. The digital camera I own is a cheapie and tends to make things appear a little out-of-focus but you are right... something vertical to hold the eye wouldn't go astray.
I'll give it some thought.
