Very nice image - can almost hear the noise he's making. You've caught the pose really well. Interesting the way you have flattened the background - it almost looks like he is standing on a stage. Nice work. :)

Great form! Great colors. I would, personally, go with a very dark green, like Hunter's green, with a rich earth tone foreground. If you give your lovely rooster some highlights you will have a show piece for any Agricultural Art Show.

This is a very nice work... I too think a few highlights, especially in his ruff, would bring him out wonderfully...

Wonderful, Dick. This guy knows what a handsome fellow he is! But I agree it needs highlights. And the background distracts me a bit. The yellow behind him and the white he's standing on don't fly for me. But the rooster? He's a winner!
