I love to work with a BIC pen, but I usually do it on the back of an envelope and send it off to a friend. So mine never look this good!

I'm totally intriguied with these. I agree, the quality is extraordinary. Could I request better pix??? Please? :D
What size are they--I mean, like credit card size or envelope size or what?
There seems to be a lighter color used here. What did you use for that, colored pencils? Is it below or applied on top of the ballpoint?
From photos, I assume?
Sorry I'm so curious. I have a habit of asking lots of questions--leftovers from my other job, writing...
I'd love to see more of these! Excellent work.

These are just straight ball point pen..umm..I dont have the sizes, off hand Id say they were between 5 inches-7 inches.
Two from photo, two from life.(although I really do dislike working from photos, and rarely do it.)
On Paper..no tone(altho in the past I have toned bristol..with a warm or cool water color wash, and then drew in ball point over it)
If you are seeing color or tonal changes, it means two things.
1. you have a good and sensative eye for color ;)
2. its either the camera or my skin tone showing up on the paper while Im close to the paper, to snap the picture(with my cell phone).

Or
3. You did such a good job of tonal control it creates the sensation of color!

I have to agree, these are wonderful. The images are a little out of focus so I can't see clearly the pen strokes, but they look amazing.
