Someone told me today that in the state of California there is a law that requires that art work that is maintained in normal display conditions have to last at least 7 years..or you can be sued. Of course, I would expect my art to last 70 years or more, but it got me to wondering about what the laws might be in other states or countries regarding the longevity of art works. Anyone have any info about this subject?
