I added three more to the series, these are small 12x12, from the smaller ones I move on to apply the concept on to the larger canvases - less costly that way. The umbrella series is one out five different themes of series that I am working on - I hope to launch my website in the next couple of months.

These are fun Patrick, nice color selection also...I know what you mean about larger works later but these would be great hung in a grouping, or even framed that way.

I really like these, their size would make them fantastic in a group hanging. I LOVE the colours used and the gestural brush strokes!

very fun! I like the square designs in the back, they remind me of beach towels and then the beach umbrella. Ahhhh summer!

Very expressive. It's fun to take an ordinary object and put feeling and mood to it.

What a neat idea! They must be sun umbrellas, as the yellow "sand" and (as Loobyteacher said) "beach towels" are at the shore. Must have just rained 'cause it looks like the beginning of a rainbow on the third painting on the right.
Very nice and novel paintings!
