Here's the last of the colorful series. Our Mastiffs tend to lie under the table at dinner. When they get up they carry the table on their back and spill whatever there is to spill, turn around and act like you did it. Oh, well. This is the second of my "Blue Bottle" series...which is why all the blue bottles.
The first was the dog on the beach.http://www.wetcanvas.com/Community/images/18-Feb-2008/129382-Oops1.jpg

His personality reminds me of Eeyore's in Winnie the Pooh.:)

I just love the colors you use.

I so want one!
Wonderful series, Maybe, just maybe you would consider putting them all in ONE thread so we can enjoy them all together?

So ... you hide all the wine bottles under the table huh? No one knows about the sly tipples eh? .... until the dogs move the table!

I think your dogs are super - the paintings of them too ;)
Fun series - nice work! :D

Thank you, Sun Shine. Glad you like him!
obxbear...so nice to meet another large dog person. Have you painted your Saint?
Linda, I guess he's got Eeyore's eyes
Tracey, I just seem to be drawn to them (pardon the pun.)
Kathleen, I would do that for you, but I don't know how. Besides, there are 8 of them and I might interfere (don't know enough about how this forum works)with the others artists' work.
Susan, Michelle and Margaret thanks so much for looking!
Thanks for you kind words, Maureen...and your sense of humor!

Lucie, is there a site where I can purchase your cards?
I need new occasional notes, and these would be absolutely wonderful.
(As well as contributing to a good cause)

Yes, Kathleen. If you contact Dee Dee Andersson at [email protected] you can purchase the cards. Dee Dee is head of the Old English Mastiff Trust Foundation (OEMTF...which you can Google). My husband is the treasurer.
Thanks for asking! And thanks for your contribution. The dogs love you for it!

Your story made me laugh...just trying to picture you having dinner and the table walks off lol Love it as usual...U know what I would like to see you paint in this series? One of your cuties having a doggy bath :)

02-19-2008, 03:19 PM
Thanks again, TxAggieDarlin.
You know, Soni, I did one having a bath, but I did him in pencil. He was an illustration for one of the poems in my book. I've thought about doing him in acrylics. It would be fun. I need 24 hours days!
