i decided to create a dragonfly on charcoal paper here is my sketch:wave:

Interesting sketch, what pencils are you using on this painting and what is the size? I like the blue against the background color, gives a translucent effect already. Look forward to your next post.

it is finished :clap: i used white, light cerulean blue, ultramarine, black and some parrot green.

The blue seems to work well on black paper. Any plans for anything in the bg or are you leaving it black?

Edit: We posted at the same time! This is an interesting use of color, and you finished so quickly. What size is it?
