I really like the swingers. Your composition creates their movement.

Love the swingers too. I would just put a little yellow/orange on the edges of the boat sails, to pop it out more. But Aruba sounds really good right now, Just got another 25cm of the white stuff!

I really like the swingers! We just hung a swing in our huge oak tree for my daughter. She loves it and so do all of us "grown-ups". All of the kids and their parents have swung on it.

I think the swingers win LOL..I love that one too and I love how you did it. I loved the feeling of going up that high with your feet to the sky.

I like the other one, but I think the boat needs a little highlight to stand out just a touch more....

Very nice work :)

I LOVE the perspective of the swingers. You've really captured something special in that one. I like the barefeet and stockingfeet. :) The sailboat one seems kind of dark, but it is a night painting. :)

The sailboat one is nice and colourful, but the swingers take the cake! lol

 So the winner is....drum roll...swingers! Thanks everyone for your kind comments. The sail boat was just an exercise for blending very different colors as I need a lot of practice on sunsets and put the boat in after it was finished.:D Thanks again!!! You are the greatest inspiration to keep trying:)

Tony, these are both nicely done. I love the swingers, reminds me of my kids....when they were younger. And my stepson whose greatest love is swinging.

Blending looks good.
You should have put a butt icon on the thread :D
Nice composition on the swingers, that little farm house is in just the right place. That rope shows very well.

You know, I always like it when someone sees the every-day from a different perspective or view-point. That is what makes your 'swinging' so appealing to me. It's such a fun composition, and a celebration of the joys of youth.
I can't comment on the 'sailing' as it appears too dark on my screen. I'm unable to determine your level of success with the blending exercise. Sorry.

Thomas.
