Just beautiful. I am so in awe of your miniatures, and your good eyesight!!!!
Always love opening your threads.

Just one tiny crit, am wondering if the elipse on the barrel is a bit off?

Lulu....thanks for the comments.
You know what how on earth did i not notice that...it stands out a mile now you have told me....aarrrgggghhhh
Oh well i wont be altering it now....
Just had a quick look at the painting again and in real life it doesn't look to far out...but it is.

Those barrels were hand cut with saws. Probably more authentic to leave it as is. I know I couldn't make a straight cut with a hand saw on a round oak barrel, or even pine. This is my favorite of all you have painted in miniature.

Paula, who can't even cut a straight board with a hand saw and have it turn out right...

it's lovely !! ... and if it's bothering you ... drop the waterline so it is elliptically correct and then the barrel can stand be as is ...

Oh, I like this one. If you don't mind me saying so, it looks like me when I was little. I was a tom-boy. :) I didn't notice the barrel thing.

Sweet! How many of these miniatures have you done now? Are you still enjoying them?

Amazing detail in something so small...with my old eyes, I have too much trouble with seeing to do anything that small. Very nice!

Thanks everyone...
Lavenderfrost i paint at least one a day at the moment as i supply a few dollshouse shops in the uk and one in Holland.
I am also trying to build some stock up as i would like to do a couple of dollshouse fairs this year, but due to the smallish size i am going to need a lot of stock.
Also my webiste has got a lot of interest as i am a member of CDHM and AMA and they seem to be sending lots of hits to the site...which i am happy to say has resulted in twelve commissions so far.
On top of that it was my birthday yesterday and i have got a hangover...
