Hi everyone,
I hate to put up a winter piece, but it had some interesting rock and ice formations in it. I had to get it out of my system so I could start something else. I'm definitely looking forward to spring and summer. 9 x 12 on umber colourfix with rembrandts and ludwigs. All C&C welcome.

I love the ice formations. It is beautiful, but like you, I would love to see a daffodil peek its head up through that ice!

Great painting. You should be extremely proud.

Todd, a beautiful winter scene! An 'orgy' in blues, warmer blues, purple blues, and blue blues. You used them very effect-fully. Love that little frozen 'ice-fall'! Brrrrrr, it is really *cold*!

I'm only a few miles from binkie and feeling darned lucky that we don't have ice or snow here! I like the way that you lightened that ice formation to contrast against the rock. It just draws me in. Lovely.

This is so nice, Todd! It will be refreshing to look at this in the summer when the air conditioners are straining.

I love winter scenes.....love the effects of that low light, and the colors it brings out. I'm weird...I actually love the winter! It seems like it is going too fast for me this year.

This is a beautiful piece; all the qualities in winter paintings that I love!

I'm cold just looking at it....love it!

I like your unusual, "mini-landscape" cropping. Those views entice me also!

Well it's Summer here and it's not unusual for temps of 110F. Wouldn't mind sittin my butt down on those rocks just to keep cool. :D Frozen is a good title indeed and I will keep this painting in my mind as the temps are expected to soar again.

I love winter scenes and this one is a beauty!
