These paintings are done in acrylic and then outlined and embellished with fabric paint. They were so much fun to do and completely freeing from what I normally do. Enjoy. The photos did not come out as well as they could have, The colors in all of them are very bold and pure no graying with white. Comments welcome...... Thanks Tami

LULU, Sandy, Nithya, Howard, Annette, Tracey, and Purple, Hi guys and thank you for the comments. These were really fun and are now hanging at my local Barnes and Noble adding a little color to the dull February days. :-) There is a lot of color and texture in each one. To see them in person is quite something.

Next series is a set of s taking off from the same format...A bit of inspiration from the 60's and 70's, some texture and some fabric paint all rolled into some fun painting...... second picture is too dark as I have not had time to take a new photo....

these would make beautiful silk scarves! you should try this technique with fabric dyes. I bet they would be beautiful as well. Very fun and colorful

OOoooh, very nice... I love the first sunflower one best... The fourth sunflowers... Dunno, something about the flowers gives me pause and niggles at me a little... Dunno if the black is too much against the yellow in my head or what... but I love all the other ones... And love the blue and white daisy paintings as well, beautiful work! Such fun in these!

I see what your saying, it is a lot of starkness against the yellow, it could be because the photos are not true to color and not showing to be as rich in color as the other ones. Number four is very much off when it comes to the true color scheme. I need to get some better photos taken but I have not had time...
These were truly great fun and they helped to loosen up my expectations and at a time when I was feeling very stagnated by my work...:)

These are awesome. Looks like you had great fun painting them. They are exuberant! I think they almost have a Tuscan feel - fun, colorful, full of life!

Excellent!

Thank you :)
They have been by far my most fun to date and have helped me free myself from my own built in prison of sorts where I was afraid to really express something inside of myself.
