Went for a hike and the sun was behind the clouds. As I was leaving the trail to go back to my car the sun sort of peeped out to say goodbye. This is 12 x 16 oil on canvas/hdf

Hi Wayne
I click onto almost everything you post but I don't always respond but I DO want you to know I appreciate your sharing. I am in the process of reworking a snowy landscape and I was trying to capture some of the reflected blue in the sky. Well after a few "back off and squints" the snowy meadow looked more like a lake than a meadow. I really like the way you handled the snow in this work and I appreciate the ability to go onto your blog and see the brushstrokes.
Anyway, very nice piece. Thanks again.
