This is a painting of a photo I took. I really liked the photo and I think for a first building painting this is better than i expected:D Hope you enjoy and suggestions appreciated.

Very nice, Wanda.

I like the loose treatment and the way you have allowed the white paper to show through.

Very nice first try at a building - nice watercolour technique.

Wanda, This is the best yet. You've really got the technique of leaving the whites down pat. The colors and layers are nice and abstracty, yet the composition and structure are strong.

Now this is my kind of building! Nice job, Wanda. Very loose and expressive. Jim

Good idea to isolate on one part of the cabin! Like the technique. Well done!

Thanks everyone for your comments. It is always so encouraging to post here because people always say nice things. I think I am making progress, if I can just keep painting and learning which seems to be the only way to do it.:D

Lovely feeling and lovely work. My brain is tired after a hard day and this painting has cheered me up immensely!
