Hi, I just finished this for my brother-in-laws mother. She is 89 years old and is the nicest person. Matter of fact, if she could now, she would be painting pastel portraits right now, but she has a terminal disease and can't hardly move around much anymore and she was such a strong woman. So I decided to paint her a portrait. I hope she likes it! I hope I did her justice. Let me know if you see anything that I might not have noticed. I will be mailing out to her on Monday. 14x17, suede matboard, nupastels & unisons

She's lovely, reminds me of my late grandmother. As you've taken away many years, I'm sure she's loving it! Those red reflections on her throat glow entirely convincingly.

Thanks Alicia & Mandy! Charlie, I just couldn't make her look too old or she might not like it. Thanks!
