Hi, thought I'd try a close up of my model, not too sure of the expression though...

The eyes are amazing. They look like they are glowing. Beautiful, moody piece!

Whoa! I love this - those red shadows almost glow. Beautiful.

Wow, love it! So alive with all them colours! And such remarkably clear eyes, not many people have them, but those who have, boy, they glow.
People will feel disturbed by this portrait. So many can't bear the feeling that the person in the portrait is looking straight into their soul. Rembrandt does this with some of his self-portraits.
I think this is fabulous because of that soul-searching look, a superb work of art! Who said we'd always feel comfortable looking at beauty. Here there is beauty both in your rendering, and in the young woman/girl.
Simply love it.

This is a beautiful piece of art. I looked at this painting for a long time and then I went back again. I am with the others, I love the eyes. I really like the feel of this painting. Great job Mang.

Great portrait! I love the expression, seems to fit the teenage stage of life - a little shy and defiant at the same time.

Quite wonderful! Love the moody feel to this, and echo the others about the eyes - they look deep into your soul!
Thank you very much for your comments.
I'm interested how her eyes have been the main focus of interest. They're very clear and intense in life too...

I love how the blue glows against the dark colors - If you don't mind my asking, what type of support (and color) are you painting on? I checked out your website and all of your portraits are really enchanting!

Could we "bribe" you into doing a demonstration?
Sure, Charlie, if you think it would be worth looking at..

I know I'd love one, and as I usually ask the question several others are thinking to pose, I bet that many others would love to see one too!
As your portraits are exceptionally good!
