This is acrylic/mixed media on 5"x5" canvas.

Yes i too love the textures and colours.
I see a dark scaley melanoma on a sunburnt skin,a bit too common here under the harsh Australian sun.

Steve-It's funny, when I was painting this I didn't have the idea of skin cancer in mind at all but when I started looking at it on the monitor I began to see what you are seeing. And the title seems to suggest it too (but the title was meant to refer to the paint skin.) It's amazing how paintings seem to have a mind of their own -lol.(although cancer is no laughing matter)
Anyway, I think I'll try this idea again but with different colors.
