Sort of... they're circular/ovalish like his navels.

I don't want to think of mine as a page of belly buttons. Then I may have to add some strategically placed leaves. (joking)

I build up layers by using glazes of watercolor paints and masking fluid. I was very happy myself with the way this turned out. This series is inspired by pebbles in the sand on the beach.

I was being humorous about the belly buttons. I think Arp's "Navels" are Navel oranges. He has some artworks that are navels and leaves.

I don't see these as pebbles, I see them as transparent holes, almost like looking into the holes and seeing water beneath, interesting, I particularly like the yellow lines, they have such a wonderful energy!
