Oh my gosh!!! What a stunning painting. The soft, subtle color shifts, harmonization, and detailed rendering are fabulous!

I commented over in wildlife, I really love your style of painting. The softness you create in all of your paintings really is very unique and special.

Pete, I've missed seeing your work over on this forum. I'll have to go over the A&W to look at what else you've been up to. This is wonderful!

I skipped you guys on one with morbid content...Mostly because I didn't like it much:crying: ...I was hoping the guys over in wildlife would help me bring it together...it was a mountain lion w/ a deer. In the end I finished it, but wasn't very proud of it. :o I like this one. But have to work on the red belly of the big one and his tail should be rounded on top not flat like the back lighting suggests, but those are easy fixes. Thanks for all your comments!!I forgot to put down it's 18 x 24 Canson w/ NuPastels, Rembrandt and some pastel pencils. Thanks again.

Hey Pete, good to see you again. This is wonderful and your style is so unique. You are one of those lucky few who wouldn't even have to sign their work - it's just so distinctive.

Wowweee! Your detail in this is so amazing, I stopped and thought I possibly was in the watercolor forum by mistake. Amazing painting!
