Wow - little more than a week and it'll be xmas!!
And the weather here in Tampa is in the 80's !! hardly winter feeling, for sure...
But ink knows no bounds for seasons, so am sure there'll be new works showing this week....   for myself, just continuing on with "Cornered Stones", now getting back to the rock arch.....

talk about fantastic weather, I have been away to the Breede river boating and sailing and got a solid tan. Terry the Grunter where so plentiful the were jumping out the river straight into the boat, pity I don't fish. Hopefully this week I will get a bit more pen and ink done.

Wow I am so sorry for being so busy lately and not really getting a chance to say much on the forums here. Gonna be posting this also in the xmas card thread but I've gotten most of everyone's cards this year, and I have to say I am amazing at seeing these in person. Great job everyone!

The biggest reason I've been busy is that I just finished up with finals last week in school and I just got a new job teaching elementary school art! Not to mention the pay is very nice...;)

Wish we had some of your nice weather Robert and Paul. It's so cccccccold here just now.... at least it's dry so I'm not complaining to much:D

If you know things to try for a noob, have a bit of C&C, or have some links to inspiring galleries with loose gestural stuff or figurative art done in ink feel free to point them out!
I'm a noob and appreciate any info.

merry christmas and happy new year for all of you soon.

Hi! and welcome to the forum mkayi.
Yes ... this is definately the place for you:D
You have some really nice free flowing drawings here with a lot of life.
I have added the Butt icon to your post because this is a requirement for nude drawings on WetCanvas!
Hope to see a lot more of your work here:D

Welcome! Very nice pieces. I'm not much of a sketcher, so I admire anyone who can do it. :D

oops, sry about the butt icon...:D

thanks for the encouragement! I am growing quite fond of ink for sketches/drawings so I think I'll be posting in here more often over time...

(hmmm.. where is this butt thingy? Is it only visible when you go advanced post edit?)

EDIT: Ah, nevermind... found it!

Hi there and welcome! I love your drawings. You are obviously very talented.
You can start up your own thread with some of your work in it if you want to. you will probably get more people looking at it and commenting that way. Also we have a thread called, pen and ink gallery for December 07.
That is where we put all our work that we have done for this month.

Hope everyone is well and Hope you all have a HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!
