Molly, just yesterday I was looking at a painting of a fledgling robin, and the composition was remarkably similar, weighted on the right, with the largely negative left side working to emphasize the lines. This has the same feel - dramatic, evocative, yet intimate. Spectacular painting.

Only critique: the red objects on stalks are distracting me. I can't articulate this, but they seem foreign to the environment.

God!~ I love this. Composition, color, brushwork, all excellent.

If you don't already have one, you need a gallery!

Very nice indeed. It has a certain feel to it that I can't explain, but it's very engaging and "nesterly" if that's a word.
