MY COMMENTS:
I have been working on this piece for a couple of weeks now. I am finally finished with it. The photo of it is not good quality, don't know why. This will be a gift for some dear friends and I don't want them to be ashamed to place it it a public place

MY QUESTIONS FOR THE GROUP:
I would like some feedback on composition. subject matter shadings depth and general likeness to subject. I have included the reference picture. Thanks to all:wave:

Hello! Your main aim is showing the love and you have done it so very well! So this is a winner, for the emotional point.
You have a good base. As more as you'll learn art, you might have more aims to acheave dealing with colors, lines contents and various ways of expressing ideas.

They will have to be happy with the likenesses.

Some suggestions for your piece -- the strong orange behind the couple overwhelms the piece, IMHO. Suggesting a complementary colour. Also adjusted the skin tones. And scale back or move your signature?

Good work. The man was done very well, and expression on both their faces conveys warmth and love. I've seen much improvement from previous posts.

I just wanted to add, I see no nessesity to the cut line above. It is sharp and against the painting and has no duty. Please consider to do just an horisontal calm line.

Her mouth needs to be extended to the left, both upper and lower lips, just a bit, to match the photo. His mouth needs to be extended to the left as well.
Should line up under the mid-eye. Try placing the pics upside down to see the difference. Smallest of changes, and you will be done. Excellent work. I agree her complextion should be toned down; she's too ruddy.
